Model Settings
Choose which AI model powers each agent role.
The agent has six roles, each independently configurable:

| Description | AI-generated asset descriptions |
| Research | Deep multi-source investigation sub-agents |

This separation exists because different tasks have different cost and quality tradeoffs. A description draft needs speed, not deep reasoning. A root cause investigation needs the opposite. You assign faster, cheaper models to high-volume roles and stronger models to complex ones.
Extended thinking
For the Chat and Triage roles, extended thinking lets the model reason through the problem before answering. This adds a few seconds of latency but produces significantly better results for root cause analysis and multi-step investigations.
