Install the Native App
Install the Digel native app on iOS or Android from the App Store or Google Play
Introduction
The Digel native app is available on the App Store and Google Play. It runs the same product the desktop does (home feed, AI chat, work orders, triage) with full offline mode and push notifications. The older PWA install option is still available at /docs/pwa-install for anyone who wants it.
iOS / iPhone or iPad
Minimum supported version: iOS 16.2.
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and search for Digel, or follow this direct link: apps.apple.com/app/id6766030936.
Tap Get and authenticate to install.
Open the app. The first launch asks for your Digel address (the same one you use to sign in on the web).
Sign in with the same email and password you use on the web app. After that, the app remembers and goes straight to the feed.
Android
Open Google Play and search for Digel, or follow this direct link: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.digel.app.
Tap Install and accept the permission prompts when the app asks. Notifications are used for new triage items and assignments. Camera is used for QR scanning and photo attachments.
Open the app and enter your Digel address on the first launch.
Sign in with the same credentials you use on the web app.
Company-managed phones
If your phones are managed centrally by IT, they can push the Digel app and pre-fill the Digel address, so operators only need to sign in. Contact us at hello@digel.io and we can walk through the setup with your IT team.
Offline mode
After the first sign-in, the app keeps your home feed, your assigned issues, and your recent chat history available even without signal. You can still create issues, change status, add comments, and finish checklists. A small banner tells you when you are offline, and items that have not synced yet are marked. When signal comes back, everything you did shows up on the web app.
App updates
Updates land in the app automatically in the background. Occasionally a larger change requires installing a new version from the store, which the store will prompt you for.
